Deliver safeguarding training tailored to your workforce — from frontline practitioners to senior leaders and Executives. This can cover recognising abuse and neglect, responding to concerns, safer recruitment, safeguarding for children and adults, online safety, and other relevant bespoke themes.
Help build safeguarding awareness and understanding across all levels — equipping staff with confidence to recognise, report and respond appropriately.
Offer creative and engaging team sessions (workshops, team-building days, scenario-based learning) to strengthen organisational culture around safeguarding and shared responsibility. This includes integrating safeguarding into wider team development and cohesion activities.

Provide independent safeguarding and clinical safeguarding supervision safeguarding leads, practitioners or volunteers — helping reflection on complex cases, embed learning, and ensure decision-making is robust, transparent and trauma-informed.

About me
With over 15 years in NHS safeguarding and long-standing experience in delivering, shaping and overseeing safeguarding frameworks across all sectors, I understand the challenges organisations face when seeking to embed effective safeguarding practice.
As someone who has worked at system, regional, National and operational levels, including safeguarding board work, policy development, audit, governance and leadership oversight, I bring practical insight, strategic vision and a commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred, equitable safeguarding.
I launched CJ Consultancy to offer independent, high-quality safeguarding support — bridging the gap between policy, practice and leadership.
My approach is: professional yet personable; rigorous yet realistic; grounded in evidence and best practice while rooted in empathy, respect and fairness.
